Drop-in STEM

  • Kansas Wetlands Education Center 592 Kansas 156 Great Bend, KS, 67530 United States (map)

Do you measure up to a Whooping Crane?  Can you engineer a goose glider that can compare to the feats of Cheyenne Bottoms migrants?  How does a duck stay warm and dry in cold water?  Why are some animals covered in scales and others in fur or slime?

Come get these questions answered and more at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center Drop-in STEM program on Friday December 29 from 1-4pm.

This free, family-friendly afternoon is come-and-go.  Rotate through several hands-on stations learning the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math of the animals that call the wetlands home!
