Join the Smoky Hills PBA for their 2024 annual meeting!
This meeting will provide a unique opportunity for members and the public to learn about the importance of prescribed burns in managing and conserving natural resources. Doors will open at 5:00pm for those wishing to view the Rolling Hills Museum during social time.
The event will feature guest speakers who are experts in the field of prescribed burns and natural resource management and will cover topics such as the role of fire in maintaining healthy ecosystems, the benefits of prescribed burns for wildlife habitat, and the importance of community involvement in prescribed burn projects.
Event will target participants from Saline County, Ellsworth County, Ottawa County, Dickinson County, Lincoln County and McPherson County.
Cash bar available with water, tea, and light snacks provided.
